The heart of each retreat is to seek the Lord, drawing near to Him and leaving renewed, refreshed, and with a deeper sense of who you are in Christ.
While there will be moments of rest, pampering, and restoration, Deborah Retreats are not yoga, wellness, or fitness retreats. They are designed to place Jesus at the centre of every experience.
Unlike many Christian women’s retreats or conferences that fill every hour with speakers and activities, Deborah Retreats intentionally create space. Here, you won’t leave feeling drained or overwhelmed. Instead, you’ll find time to breathe, linger in the presence of Jesus, and enjoy His creation in the peaceful forest surrounds.

This retreat is designed for Christian women who feel they’ve only been dipping their toe in with God and are ready to dive deeper into their relationship with Him. Perhaps you’ve asked yourself, “Am I a lukewarm Christian?” or maybe life’s circumstances have caused you to drift from closeness with the Lord.

Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” As followers of Jesus, we get to build a close, personal relationship with Him — and one of the greatest joys of that relationship is hearing Him speak into our lives.
At this retreat, you’ll learn how to recognise God’s voice. If you’ve ever struggled to hear God or wondered whether it’s really Him speaking, we’ll explore the many ways He communicates, why He speaks, and how to discern His voice through Scripture and real-life examples.
Through small group sessions and reflective journalling, you’ll discover practical ways to talk with God daily — and hear Him respond. Come ready to hear from the King Himself.

Remember Moses, hesitant yet chosen, and Deborah, the only female judge, raised up for such a time. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. This is a time to step away with the Lord, to seek His Kingdom first, and to discover what He has ordained for your life.
Throughout the retreat, we will reflect on the Israelites’ journey in Exodus: how God led them with a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, how He provided manna each morning, and how He asked them to step with faith into the Jordan River before the waters parted. These moments reveal a God who guides, provides, and strengthens His people as they move toward the promises He has prepared for them. He is faithful to His covenant, and when He calls you into something greater, He also equips you to walk it out.

God is inviting you to step away with Him, to rest and soak in His Presence.
Has He been calling you to retreat and simply be with Him? This retreat is designed to give you the time and freedom to do just that. While a small selection of activities will be available, they are completely optional—you are free to move at your own pace.
Guests will have the freedom to rest and seek the Lord in whatever way they desire. The venue offers shaded open spaces, hammocks for reading or resting, a beautiful spring-fed pool, and hiking trails for those who want to explore nature. Indoors, you’ll find cosy corners and reading nooks, while the dining area provides a welcoming space by the fire to connect with new friends.

All meals are included, and as you can see in the sample menu, they are absolutely delicious and nutritious! Snacks, tea and coffee and alternative milks are also provided, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks if you wish. If you have dietary requirements, please let us know in advance, there are plenty of gluten free, lactose free and vegan options / variations on offer.

No! The retreats are for women in all walks of faith, from being a brand new believer, to those who have walked with God for many, many seasons. If you're female, over 18, and call Jesus your Lord and Saviour, you are welcome! Please come as you are. This is a non-denominational retreat, that's the beauty of joining together in community with other women who have one thing in common: a love for Jesus and His Word!
By sharing stories, wisdom and experience on what God has taught us over the years we can support, encourage and help one another in our faith.

In 2025, God placed Deborah Retreats on my heart. Though I wrestled with doubts, I chose obedience. Like Moses, I questioned my calling, yet the Lord has shown me He is with me. I step forward not in my own strength, but fully reliant on Jesus to shepherd the hearts of every woman He brings to these retreats.
I live in Perth, Western Australia with my husband of 22 years and our two grown daughters. My professional background is in Finance — 15 years as a CPA in mining and construction, including FIFO rosters in the Pilbara. It was in my current role in Port Hedland that God led me to begin a Bible study in our mining village, creating a space for faith and community away from home.
I love staying active, reading, beach walks with coffee and friends, and spending time in prayer and God’s Word.
I attend a wonderful church in Perth's northern suburbs, called True North Church, and I enjoy serving as the Hospitality Coordinator and on the coffee cart team!
I am so excited to see what God will do in the hearts of each woman whom He calls to attend a Deborah Retreat.
